I was married for ten years, have four beautiful boys under 9 and have a very fulfilling and successful career.
On Tuesday night, the two were caught kissing outside Villa Lounge restaurant in West Hollywood, in a pic obtained by People magazine! #Life Alert Type Of Love.” Beckinsale is two years older than Rife’s mom and he is just three years older than her daughter Lily. Girl, you ready for your 3 minutes in heaven(foreplay included)?
If you are wishy-washy at all about itn then you may be in for a storm. Then whatever anyone says (including your parents) doesn't matter. AND MORE IMPORTANTLY what YOU think about what they think. You are worried about what's going to happen, you are dreading breaking the news... If they don't like it will it tear you apart inside?
People will say bad things and people will say good things. you are absolutely right about being confident in what i'm doing, and i DO believe in what i am doing with him. There really is no way you can know what they will think... Will it tear apart the relationship you believe in?
It's not at all that i fell in love with the wrong person, because i don't feel he is the wrong person at all, our only "problem" if any in our relationship is the age gap. As a dad, seeing that my daughter brings home a 40 (almost) year old guy... How important is the statement "age is just a number" to you?
His parents know about us and they like me, but i know it will be a big issue with my parents. Because you are going to have to solidify your belief in that statement to sell it to your parents.
I guess I must be in reasonable shape because NOBODY can guess I’ve even had four kids, or that I’m even 34 (I get asked out by guys in their early 20s- I feel like I should read them a story and tuck them into bed… we usually go on a few dates, everything is going wonderful… I’m not talking about church bells, but just to an actual relationship. I am sick of being treated like a piece of ass, and treated like I must be desperate because I have kids.
I’m tired of guys treating me like I should be grateful if they even stick around for five minutes. Do I need to be a nun in order to find someone who can actually see a relationship with me?
He was tall, muscular, and blond, with stone gray eyes and a low gravelly voice. But when I suggested we go out for a beer, he gave a polite yet immediate "no." Tim later confessed he thought I was beautiful and smart, but there was one thing working against me: I was 21; he was 47, and unlike most men who'd be flattered by a younger woman showing interest in them, he thought going on a date with a woman young enough to be his daughter would be ridiculous.
Fast-forward five years and I am insanely in love with this man.
I never thought twice about our relationship until i realized i was going to have to tell my mom.
We value the same things, he makes me incredibly happy, and i love him.
The more you are confident in YOU, the less the bad stuff affects your decisions. A loving reciprocal relationship is tough to come by. I hope that when i do tell my parents they'll see how much i love him, and how sure i am in our relationship. There is no way on this earth that you can get them to 'like' the idea of you dating a much older guy. Going in and talking with them, you have realize BEFOREHAND that they can say whatever they feel.
