Again, at 12 weeks when l had my NT scan their size difference made my Dr think that Twin1 was downs (she wasn't) as she was by now approx 1cm smaller than her twin sister. Twin 2 was slightly longer and even now, she is a little taller her than her sis.
She didn't show me the heartbeat or baby but she said " I can leave on a positive note" how is this positive.
I only had intercourse once January 11th and sperm only lasts 7 days which would make me 8 weeks at least not 6.
and sure enough I went into labor exactly on the 10th, and he was born on the 11th. I think even a week ahead wouldnt make much difference to your bump.
I had a sizeable bump at 12wks and this is my 2nd pregnancy too.
For whatever reason I always take 12 days to implant so even if I know exactly when I ovulated my due date is always almost two weeks later than it " should be" Dont lose hope :) Not sure if implantation would affect baby's development but maybe it implanted late? maybe you can get another u/s to make sure things are progressing smoothly. At dating US baby showed about 9 days behind what I thought it would be and can't remember having sex around at that time at all so i was pretty worried but we went back for a follow up a week later and baby's heart was going strong and had grown about 6 days - so far all is well!
And ultrasounds aren't 100% accurate I'm sure 3 days of sizing difference isn't a huge issue :) I just went through something similar.
And ultrasounds aren't 100% accurate I'm sure 3 days of sizing difference isn't a huge issue :) I agree.. which only puts your baby's size smaller by 3 days!
which only puts your baby's size smaller by 3 days! that means baby has only been growing for 5 weeks which would be considered 7 weeks pregnant..
I'll be officially joining you all next week Cant wait.
