A four-part revival of the cult-favorite dramedy, which originally ran for seven seasons from 2000 to 2007 on the WB (later the CW), was unveiled last fall on Netflix to the delight of super fans everywhere.
When Graham stopped by The Times’ video studio this week, though, she admitted to feeling a little morose now that it’s actually happened.“It’s really wonderful and a little bittersweet,” said Graham, who played fast-talking mom Lorelai Gilmore on the series.

But in the meantime, Graham said she wants to focus on half-hour projects.

Beside the panic of never working again, the excitement of the possibilities is great, too. There are people who have liked her with different guys. The other side of getting to do an ending is that everyone has an opinion about what it should be, including myself and the writers and the other actors. We were all talking about a scene the other day where I’m trying to tell them about drugs and alcohol and the evils and they’re making fun of me behind my back. In another, partially because Peter [Krause] directed the episode, we’re looking through Jason Ritter’s yearbook and Peter had the idea to put him in a dorky wrestling outfit. Everybody contributes on this show and some of those little innovations have made things special.
Excitement has reached fever pitch ever since the first photos from Stars Hollow were released, and it hasn't relented since. Glamour: Who among the cast were you most excited to see again once the revival was on?
