Receive support and advice on managing the complex emotions involved with the death of a child. Bereavement support groups are open to anyone in the community, regardless of where the death occurred.
An annual registration of eligible students determines a per capita amount of money designated for the purchase of educational materials produced by the American Printing House for the Blind (APH).
These funds are credited to Federal Quota accounts which are maintained and administered by APH and its Ex Officio Trustees throughout the country.

The Gretna Library’s teen craft time for those in grades six through 12 will be from to p.m. Friday, June 9The Gretna community garage sale will be going on throughout the area through Sunday. Items will include clothing, toys, household and kitchen items, arts and crafts items, books and more. to discuss “The Rest of Us Just Live Here” by Patrick Ness. “All-American Boys” by Jason Reynolds and Brendan Kiely will be discussed July 10. A public workshop on fair housing will be held in concurrence with the open house.
The Cooler offers three different Party Packages, on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Pet Loss Support Group An opportunity for those whose beloved pet has died to share their feelings in a supportive environment.
Art Exhibit: “Heart Felt” April 3 – June 29 Featuring local artist Dorothy Benedict’s tapestries combining felt and weaving – landscapes and some of the animals on her farm.
